Today the resort is breathing new life after 4 years of renovation, focused on preserving the architectural heritage of the building while bringing the facilities into the 21st Century. 70 rooms and Suites, one of the best 18-hole golf courses in Europe and a world class ‘Vidago Spa’ in a new modernist wing designed by the worldwide known architect Siza Vieira.
Drawing on the therapeutic and curative water collected from the granitic wells in the grounds, the Spa offers 20 treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, gym and indoor/outdoor pools. Aromatherapy Associates and Natura Bissé are amongst the product houses represented.
Food & beverage is signed by Chef Rui Paula, who recently won his first Michelin Star.
