Pedras Salgadas Spa & Nature Park

Located in the heart of the Park, the Eco Houses nestle among centenarian trees and lush vegetation, offering a colour palette that appears to have come straight off an artist’s canvas. Their modern dimensions and interior decoration were designedby the architect Luís Rebelo de Andrade and they were constructed by the Portuguese Company Modular System. All Eco Houses boast cutting-edge technology and are equipped to accommodate up to six people, and have a large outdoor deck.

The originality and modernity of the architecture of the Eco Houses gained them first place in the prestigious site ArchDaily awards, which chose the top 14 buildings in the world for 2013 in the category Hotels and Restaurants. The most visited architecture site highlighted the modular system upon which the houses are based and the flexibility that allows the fitting of different combinations that generate different morphologies and dialogues with the surrounding nature.

The Thermal Spa, renovated by the architect Alvaro Siza Vieira offers a wide selection of spa, wellness and beauty treatments, making the most of the benefits of Pedras Salgadas’ hot water springs. Most spa areas take advantage of natural light, allowing constant contact with nature, as is the case with the indoor pool and its water system.
