The restaurant is to be found within a Relais & Chateaux Hotel. A homely décor with style accompanies "fine dinning" and a menu that compliments regional products and Portuguese cuisine. The gourmet cuisine has been awarded with one (well deserved) Michelin star. Signature dishes include the smoked sardines served with tomato confit, pepper jam, regional sausages and fresh vegetables drizzled with olive oil; and the Bisaro suckling pig with polenta cream, smoked ham, balsamic onions and Amarante jus. Dressed in shades of red and gold, the dining room boasts brocade armchairs and ruby coloured wine glasses, as well as an assured selection of Portuguese wines. |
