This is the most reputable, authentic, and sophisticated of all the Fado Houses, owned by one of the country's top Fado performers, Maria da Fé. Several singers perform during the course of the evening and the food is excellent.

Sr. Vinho is an old school, culturally rich restaurant that has held its own against the homogeneous establishments around. For an authentic Portuguese experience, this low-ceilinged rustic restaurant has everything.

The seafood (something that the Portuguese are known for) is excellent, be it the prawn, codfish, shellfish or octopus. The pork and goat meats are equally succulent and the meal can be capped off with traditional Portuguese desserts like the Pudim Flan or the Queijadas.
