After many, many years it is still one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Expensive, indeed, but so good that it justifies a visit, even if just on a most special occasion. Originally built as a bakery, at the entrance you can see the intricate crystal candlesticks, which contrast with the inside winter garden decoration. The "açorda" is excellent, and nevertheless it is just one among many starring delicious dishes. You may choose without fear. In the end, the mythical chocolate mousse. So good, so good, that one feels like putting money aside just to be able to return there. |
