One of the very few restaurants in Portugal to be granted a coveted Michelin star, Amadeus is known for its innovative cuisine and outstanding cellar.

As you might expect, the menu strikes rich, full chords and seemingly avoids all pitfalls. If the weather's fine (and it usually is), you can dine outside, enjoying the seductive cuisine in a modern setting.

You are likely to have one of your finest Algarvian dining experiences here as you sample such sublime dishes as ravioli with wild broccoli, wild white sea bass with stewed fennel, filet of John Dory flavored with Spanish manzanilla olives, or a paprika risotto with wild octopus. The desserts are among the finest along the coast, perhaps an orange crème brûlée with a carob tree tartlet or else prickly pears with a white chocolate sorbet.

The wine list includes some excellent Austrian wines, both red and white amongst an excellent Portuguese and international selection.

Amadeus opened in 2003 and is now firmly established as one of the top fine dining establishments in the Algarve.
