The Quinta da Marinha Golf Club is located near the coast, between Cascais and Guincho. Designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., the original project was to built a 9-hole course. However, this idea was abandoned in favor of an 18-hole course, so international events could be held here.

The course boasts very good par 3s and excellent greens. Seeing that the greens are not quite large, they require accurate shots. Hole number 5 features several bunkers protecting the elevated green. This course has won many fans not only for its layout, but also for its stunning landscapes.

Also the par four thirteenth, 390 metre long, will be remembered for the stunning views out to sea.
