This championship course of 18-hole par 72 course, occupying a total area of 90 hectares. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the course has a unique landscape, with its 22 lakes, magnificent waterfalls (which serve as reservoirs for irrigation purposes), undulating fairways, strategically positioned bunkers and tough water hazards. Another major attraction is formed by and exceptional driving rage and by an enormous putting green are of about 2,500m2, which sets the course apart from the rest. Considered as one of the most beautiful courses in Europe, Victoria Golf Club has already hosted the world’s most important golf event – the Algarve World Cup in Portugal / 2005. In October 2006, hole number 18 was ranked as one of the top ten holes in the world by the “Golf World” magazine. |
